Foreclosure prevention help available in Tucson this week …

This week, on June 20th and 21st, 2012, counselors from the state sponsored program Save Our Home AZ will be available for hourly appointments  Wednesday and Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Hotel Tucson City Center InnSuites, 475 N. Granada Ave..

Under the Save Our Home AZ program, unemployed homeowners can apply for temporary payment assistance for up to two years while they seek work.

Underemployed homeowners can apply for a loan  principal reduction of up to $50,000 with a matching contribution from a participating lender that could reduce mortgage payments to 31 percent of the homeowner’s monthly income.

Participants must meet certain requirements, including eligibility, hardship, property type, loan balance, income level and other conditions.

If you are not eligible for such programs, consult with an attorney for other possible options — including whether you can or even should try to save your home though other means, including Chapter 13 bankruptcy or even litigation.

Contact our office for a comprehensive, reasonably priced one-hour consultation that includes document review.
